Located a few miles south of Punta Gorda and a little north of Fort Myers, this unique area of Burnt Store derived its name from an incident during the second Seminole War in the early 1800's. A trading post in the area was burned by the Indians and ever since, the road leading to the site has been known as Burnt Store Road.

Housing within the gated community consist of a variety of choices from condominiums, villas, townhomes, to single family and estate homes, waterfront and/or golf view and priced from $100,000 to $700,000. There is something for everyone in this active community in addition to the hike and bike trails throughout. For a list of homes available in the Marina, click here.

The Marina offers a 525 slip, privately owned deep water marina boasting direct access to the gulf of Mexico, only 10 nautical miles across the harbor to the famed Boca Grande Pass, the Gulf of Mexico and some of the worlds finest tarpon fishing. Trout, snook, cobia and redfish are abundant in the harbor and in the tributay rivers and bayous.  Ranked as one of the top ten places to sail by Sail magazine, your choices of sailing are limitless from racing on the harbor, overnighting in one of the many secluded, protected anchorages or sail the blue waters of the Gulf. Charlotte Harbor is the second largest estuary in Florida, encompassing 270 square miles, yet it is one of the best kept secrets. Kayak the secluded coves and islets, or relax and lie back on one of the area gulf beaches known for shelling.  Burnt Store Marina provides direct access to this boating wonderland, just south of Tampa, between Sarasota and Naples.

The Marina also offers all the standard dock amenities, fuel and pump out services, boat launch service with dry storage facilities, launching ramp, a repair facility, boaters pool with laundry facilities and bath house. Sailing and Fishing Charters are also offered privately within the Marina.

The fully equipped athletic center is complete with six lighted tennis courts which provide for instruction and league play along with a heated pool, sauna and aerobic studio.
